How to Select the Correct Education Level in DV Entry

Don’t hasten to select education level before you understand it well. This is how to correctly select the level of Education that you have achieved in the DV Lottery application

Primary school only

This will cover three categories of people. If you have attended primary school only, that means you have only graduated from the primary school then you select this.

If you attended a primary school but did not complete the primary education, also select Primary School only. If you never attended any school then you select the primary school. Only these three conditions will be for the primary school only.

High School no degree

High School No Degree means that you attended high school but never completed it, and so you did not receive your high school diploma. Therefore, if you ever attended high school and never completed it, you should select any high school degree. This does not apply to those in high school. If you are still continuing with your high school education, you have to continue and complete the high school education for you to qualify. However, if you are a school dropout and you did not complete your secondary education then your option will be high school no degree.

High school degree

A high school degree means that you have completed your high school education—your secondary education—and so you have the high school diploma or the high school certificate, as it is called in some other countries. This also applies to those people that completed their high school education but failed but have a diploma. If you have a high school diploma or certificate, regardless of whether you excelled or you had a lower grade, you still qualify to select a high school degree. Don’t make a mistake and mix up these two: high school with no degree and high school degree. Another point on the high school degree is if you completed your high school education but you have not acquired the certificate, maybe for some reason or another, maybe lack of the school fees, your certificate is withheld by the school you still select a high school degree.

Another important thing to note is if you are in your final Academic Year and that means you are going to sit for your examination the end of high school examination by the end of this year you also are qualified to select High School degree Because by the time the results will be out you will have done your examination and you will be having your high school diploma.

Vocational school

Vocational education are the vocational institutions under the TVET? These vocational institutions do not require you to have gotten your high school diploma. You might have completed your primary education and have joined a vocational institution to learn manual skills like plumbing and woodworking before you attain your high school diploma. Therefore, vocational education, in that case, does not qualify you as a high school diploma. In other words, vocational education is not equivalent to a high school diploma. So if you just attended primary school or you dropped out of primary school, and you joined a vocational Institution for skillful work. You will select Vocational School

Some university courses

This level means that you are currently in your university doing your undergraduate degree but you have not completed it. It means that you have not yet completed your university degree education to attain your degree certificate. You are still continuing. It also applies to those people who dropped out of university. It also applies to those who completed a high school diploma and did some other courses. For example, you did some craft courses or you did some Artisan courses in an institution or joined a university and did a diploma course.

University degree

This, of course, means that you have attended a university and you have graduated with your degrees

Some graduate-level courses

These are for those people that have completed their undergraduate studies and are now doing their postgraduate studies. If you’re doing your postgraduate studies but you have not completed then you select some graduate-level courses.

Master’s degree

If you have finished your master’s degree if you have your master’s degree then you select the master’s degree

Some doctorate-level courses

This means this is for all those people who have completed their master’s degree and they are now attending their doctorate studies but they have not finished

Doctorate degree

Finally, you select a doctorate degree if you have the doctorate degree and have attained your doctorate degree. It means you have completed your doctoral studies.
